The Fund also has in place procedures to deal with any complaint you may have.  Complaints about the Fund can usually be resolved promptly.  However, if you are unhappy with our initial response, you may make a complaint to the Fund’s Complaints Officer in writing, or telephone or email complaints@combinedfund.com.au.

Superannuation regulations stipulate that the Trustee follows a formal complaints consideration procedure and responds to you within 90 days.

Superannuation Complaints Tribunal

If you are dissatisfied with the Trustee’s handling of your complaints or its decision, you may contact the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal.  The Tribunal is an independent body set up by the Federal Government to assist members or beneficiaries to resolve certain types of complaints with fund trustees.

If the Tribunal accepts your complaint, it will attempt to resolve the matter through conciliation, which involves assisting you and the Fund to come to a mutual agreement.  If conciliation is unsuccessful, the complaint is referred to the Tribunal for review and it may make a determination which is binding.
